About Terrazzo Material

Terrazzo is an ancient composite material that can impart a classic vibe to your interiors with its vintage appeal. Crafted by Venetian marble workers during the 15th century, this seamless terrazzo material is known for its bounty of benefits. It is not only one of the most durable flooring options available but also has the lowest life-cycle cost. Terrazzo floors are manufactured from a mixture of recycled glass and natural aggregates held together with a concrete base, cement, or epoxy binders. 

The terrazzo mortar is applied and spread over the floor’s concrete bases and then polished to create a smooth finish. The presence of natural aggregates such as marble, quartz, and granite provides its unique speckled look. Besides natural stone chips, we also use other types of aggregates like glass pebbles, synthetic chips, and silica bits to suit a wide range of aesthetic options.
